# Participant Facing Safety Guidelines (Water & MRI)

## Important safety warnings for wearing Hexoskin.

### **Water Warning**

- **Water immersion:** The Recorder is **NOT** waterproof. **Do not** swim or shower while wearing the Hexoskin Shirt and the Recorder.
- **Rain:** It is water-resistant against rain, but keep it covered under a jacket.

### **Medical Warning**

- **MRI:** You **MUST remove** the Shirt and Recorder before an MRI scan. Metallic fibres can cause burns.
- **Defibrillators:** Remove if emergency cardiac treatment is needed.
