# Daily Care: Washing and Drying

## How to wash your Hexoskin Shirt without damaging the sensors

### **Washing Rules**

- **Remove Recorder:** Never wash the Recorder! It is splash-proof but not waterproof.
- **Zip Up:** Close the shirt zipper and the side pocket (with connector inside).
- **Wash Bag:** Always use the provided mesh bag.
- **Settings:** Machine wash, ideally using **cold water** and a “**Delicate”** cycle. Use liquid detergent only.

### **Drying Rules**

- **Hang Dry Only:** Hang the shirt to dry (takes 2-3 hours).

**Important: NO dryer**, never tumble dry. Heat damages the elastics and sensors.
